Results and outcomes for children in Y6.

The school is required to publish its outcomes for children in Year 6 in 2017.

 

We report on test outcomes for reading and maths and teacher assessment for writing.

 

We were delighted with attainment in 2017 placing us securely in the top 25% of schools nationally - according to FFT data. 

 

82% of children met expected standard in reading, writing and maths.

20% of children met the criteria for higher standard in reading, writing and maths.

The average scaled score for reading was 106.8

The average scaled score for maths was 108.

The average progress score was -0.2 with progress scores of reading -1.1, writing 0 and maths 0.7. 

 

These results represent a substantial improvement over 2016 and are a credit to the hard work of the children and teachers.

Attainment was well above national with slightly higher outcomes for GPS. Progress was broadly in line with expected.

 

The school was above floor standards and expect to be above coasting school.
